With a piston for the disc, the seat design of piston check valve is similar to a globe valve. It has a dashpot made of a cylinder and piston that acts as protection during application. It is mainly used with angle and globe valves in piping systems that have periodic changes in flow directions.
Series - 150 To 600
It is also used in high-pressure applications that have high flow velocity. Well-suited for installation in both vertical and horizontal pipelines with upward flow. It is commonly used in air, water, and steam systems.
Design Features
- Replaceable seat
- A variety of body and interior materials
- The design of piston and valve seat, acting on the piston back pressure, sealing performance is excellent
- These valves are unidirectional valves and restrict flow from opposite direction
